[짧은 평] The start up of you

이 책은 장기적인 커리어 고민을 하고 있는 나에게 사내 멘토가 추천해주어 만나게 되었다. 멘토 역시 이전 매니저에게 추천을 받았다고 하며, 뉴욕 타임즈 베스트 셀러 1위에 오르기도 한 책이다.

책은 크게 두 파트로 구성되어 있다. 나의 자산에 대한 부분과 인맥에 대한 부분이다. 두 가지 모두 커리어에 중요한 영역이다. 하지만 나는 나의 자산에 대해 생각해 볼 수 있었던 첫 번째 장이 인상 깊었다.

나의 자산을 3가지 요소(가진 것,가지고 싶은 것,시장성)로 나누어 생각해 접근하는 방법이 기억에 남는다.

두 번째 장에서는 인맥의 힘과 중요성을 공감할 수 있었고 이 책에서 제시하는 구체적인 실행 방법들을 향후 다시 보면서 실천해 보면 좋을 듯 하다.
